Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

He was quite cooperative in several poses. White-tailed deer are known to inhabit Iowa. The southeast region of the state is well-know for these big bucks!
I am a photographer that was inspired to go deeper into the wild by the work of Thomas D. Mangelsen at the Mangelsen - Images of Nature gallery in the Old Market of Omaha, Nebraska. Based in Ottumwa, Iowa, I travel to destinations where the wild things roam. As a graduate of the Iowa Central Community College Photography Program, I placed in several shows/exhibits on and off campus. In addition to having an image selected for the Iowa State Fair Exhibition Hall, I was also selected as an Emerging Artist for the state of Iowa in 2017. In 2016, my mother and I were in a head-on collision which left me disabled.
