This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

This giraffe came up to our bus as we traveled through African Lion Safari in Ontario, Canada. He seemed to be a youngster and was very inquisitive. The caramel color of his spots stood out against the blue sky.
About Diane Marcotte
Born in Montreal and now living in Oakville, Ontario, I am mainly self-taught but have also taken art classes at Sheridan College. Before a career in banking took over I was a stay-at-home mum and dabbled in oil painting. Only when I retired did I begin painting again - this time in earnest. I have always loved the transparency of watercolour paintings and so I began painting solely in this medium. Then I discovered Pan Pastels and I now take commissions to paint pet portraits in this wonderful medium. Recently I have been drawn to Alcohol Inks for their vibrancy and jewel-like tones.
